Kurt Jackson & St Just

Returning to the Royal Cornwall Museum for the first time in over 10 years and inspired by the apis bull -small bronze figure with the body of a bull with the face of a human that was found St Just in 1832 and that is currently on display in the museum’s Ancient Civilisations gallery - Kurt Jackson has curated a special exhibition celebrating items from the museum’s collection that have a connection to St Just; the village he has made his home and from which he draws inspiration.

These chosen exhibits will be shown alongside a small selection of Kurt’s paintings and other works including his response to the apis bull, The St Just Bull; a small sculpture created using tin from a deposit Kurt discovered near the Cot Valley.
